Icicles

Check out these super-cool things, they're called icicles (not bicycles).

Pool in the snow

Even if it's empty, it's still fun. Remember this? First you fill it up . . .

. . . then you dump it. The fun is endless.

First things first

We visited Bumpa and Grandma C this weekend and just like every time we visit we went right to the bells as soon as we walked in the door. We did take off our coats and shoes first, but just barely.

POPCORN!

Bumpa makes awesome popcorn.

Handful by handful we eat tons of it.

Tipping your head way back helps the handfuls go down.

the big window

Bumpa and Grandma C have a great big window in their living room. Grandma showed us all the great stuff in their backyard when we visited this weekend.

More from the fish

Those fisheyes found us again. This time on a swing . . .

. . . and on a rocking chair. We just can't seem to escape them.

Little help please?

I could use a little push.

I need to un-bury.

Cousins rule

Just look at all of us. Jax, Kinsey, Kendall and Charley. All hanging out together. We're only missing Austin and Chandler. Hopefully all six can get together soon.

Kinsey reads a great story, too. She can read to us anytime.

Animals in Texas

We went to the zoo in Texas with Aunt Corrie and Cousin Kendall. There's a pretty cool play area there with some great elephant statues. After giving them a thorough once-over . . .

. . . we hopped right on. They didn't move anywhere, nut they were fun to ride nonetheless.

Then there are the eggs. Can you IMAGINE the omelet you could make with one of these?

And here we have the black mamba snake. A little tough to see, that's why we got so close. Corrie, on the other hand, wouldn't go near it. She better not go near any anteaters either. Mommy told us they eat aunts like Corrie.

Grandma's beds

We've been spending LOTS of time in Grandma and Grandpa's room. There's a little bed at the end of their big bed that's just right for rolling, sliding or jumping off.

Silly with Aunt JenJen

Daddy helped us take some pictures of awesome Aunt JenJen. We couldn't resist injecting our own personal style.

Robbing the cradle

The wooden bassinet is just so enticing. It's usually inhabited by a couple dolls, not anymore.

Cleaning with Carrie

Not really, but we had a good time sliding on the coffee table nonetheless.

Little videos from Aunt JenJen

Aunt JenJen came with us to the ice cream
store yesterday. You can see how cold it was . . .

. . . and how much fun we had . . .

. . . and the aftereffects.

What's more fun? . . .

. . . The bucket? . . .

. . . or the chalk? We think you can probably guess the answer.

Rockin' out

We've done our best to be entertaining. Everyone keeps telling us we're doing a good job.

Cards with Kinsey

We've been having all kinds of fun with Kinsey. Playing cards, swimming, playing outside, swimming, building towers, swimming.

With the fishies

Apparently this is what we look like to a fish. Especially when we're in the pool with them.

Daddy got this special new camera (different from the other new camera) from Aunt JenJen. It's called a fisheye. Clever, huh?

The ice cream store

After dinner we went to the ice cream store. It was really hard to choose . . .

. . . but really, it didn't matter. It was all good . . .

. . . and gooey . . .

. . . and VERY cooooooooooooold!

Swingin' with Grandpa

Grandpa Meehan is good at lots of things. One thing he's REALLY good at is pushing us on the tire swing.

What kind of lion?

Daddy showed us what a dandelion is. It's nothing like the animal. He also said . . .

. . . if you blow on it the little white things they'll fly away. We didn't have much success.

Poolside . . . for a moment

We went outside again and lounged poolside for a little while. It was too cold to get in, again.

It didn't take too long for us to take off for other things.

Like climbing up the ladders on the swing set with our lizards.

We eventually got hungry so Grandpa Meehan helped us cook our lizards in the microwave. Tasty.

Uncle Toddo's "doggie"

Can you spell a-n-i-m-a-t-r-o-n-i-c? We can't spell it or say it, so we just say f-a-k-e.

Call of the wild

These two, a hippo and a cow, have been hanging out in the living room ever since we arrived. They don't always play along really well . . .

. . . but the conversation is pretty good.

Rearranging furniture

Grandpa Meehan has a great office chair. We wheel it into the living and spin and spin and spin.

Finally . . . the pool

They let us in the water today. It was awesome. We splashed . . .

. . . poured water on Daddy . . .

. . . taught our cousin Kendall a few things . . .

. . . and gave jumping into the pool a shot.

It was a lot of fun so we jumped over and over and over again.

Showing off

We're meeting lots of people here. We feel obligated to show all our tricks to our new friends.

We're learning a few new ones too.
